The Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli Lodge #2183, Sons and Daughters of Italy, Wilmington,
and the Italian Heritage Month Committee is proud to announce the Thirteenth Annual
Italian Heritage Golf Classic in celebration of October as Italian Heritage Month. This
year’s tournament, which will be held at the Hillview Golf Course in North Reading,
Massachusetts, will take place on Friday, October 13, 2023.
Proceeds from the golf classic will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, Cooley’s
Anemia Foundation, and the Italian Heritage Scholarship Fund.
You can support our charitable golf tournament by sponsoring a hole, a golf cart or
providing a gift certificate that will enhance our raffle table. Sponsorships are $100.00
per hole and $50.00 per cart. Your name, business, or organization will be recognized
with a sign on the tee box of the hole that you sponsor, or with a sign on a golf cart.
Additionally, your support will be acknowledged on our website and in newspaper
publications that circulate throughout the state.
Enclosed is your sponsorship form to support this year’s Italian Heritage Golf Classic
Tournament. Please submit your completed form by Friday, October 6, 2023 and send
your check made payable to the Wilmington Sons of Italy, and mail to P.O. Box 387,
Wilmington, MA 01887.
If you are providing a gift certificate that cannot be mailed, a member of the committee
will be available to pick up your donation.

The 39th Annual I Migliori Awards Dinner will be held on April 6th, 2024
at Spinelli’s Hall in Peabody, MA. This is the Pirandello’s signature event which honors outstanding men and women of Italian heritage who have demonstrated outstanding professional and personal achievement and extraordinary contributions to the Italian American community. The 2024 Honorees are:

The I Migliori Award – the Best in Mind and Deed – has been called by Boston Magazine the most prestigious award that an individual of Italian American descent can receive. It is presented by the Pirandello Lyceum, by a eminent group of Italian Americans dedicated to maintaining, celebrating and sharing Italian culture in America.
Dinner Tickets are $ 100 per person. Proceeds from the dinner benefit the Pirandello Scholarship Fund which last year provided five scholarships to college-bound students who intend to study Italian Language and Culture. Members and supporters of the Pirandello Lyceum may make reservations to attend the I Migliori Awards Dinner by sending checks payable to the Pirandello Lyceum, to James Pinzino, Pirandello Lyceum, P.O.Box 227, Marlborough, MA 01750.

Those contributing to this fund will have their name appear on the I Migliori Program Booklet. These Special Scholarship Contributions are made payable to the Pirandello Lyceum and may be mailed to James Pinzino, Pirandello Lyceum, P.O. Box 227, Marlborough, MA 01750. Please note on check ” Special Scholarship Contribution” so it is not confused with Dinner Tickets.
