Dear Friends of the Scuola Italiana del Sabato PIB,
Please fill in the form on this page to register for the January 21st fundraising dinner or simply make a donation. Suggested donation per dinner attendee is $100, anything more will help our cause. We are missing need at least $6,000 to cover the costs for this school year!
The dinner is reserved to 30 top professionals from New England, who are either Italian or are interested in supporting the cause of teaching Italian at the highest level to our children. It will take place in a 1920 Italian-style house in Winchester, MA, and will feature Italian regional dishes prepared by Italian parents of children from the school, and amazing live jazz by saxophonist Marco Pignataro (Director of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute) and his colleagues.
The Scuola Italiana del Sabato PIB, founded in March 2014, is the first and only school in New England to offer Saturday advanced classes exclusively in Italian to children 3-12 year of age. Info about the what-why-how are at: piboston.org/educate/italian-saturday-school
Video reports about the school and its soccer classes were aired, in Italian, by RAI Italia.
Thanks for your help!!

Salimblues, an exciting all-Italian Boston band, celebrates Carnival with covers of great Italian songwriters such as Pino Daniele, Edoardo Bennato, Lucio Battisti, Paolo Conte, and many others. A great mix of traditional and modern music, a bridge from Naples to Chicago, featuring histrionic front man Stefano Salimbeni and pyrotechnic blues guitarist Matteo Casini.

Europe has been facing an intense time of uncertainty as consequence of the economic and financial crisis and the emergence of a more radicalised set of political stances, also in relation to the European Union’s sustainability itself. The events around the BREXIT referendum are going to be considered a watershed in the recent history of the EU. As newspapers, social medias and specialised websites are constantly talking about the EU and its health scenarios, in order to have a better understanding on the theme, PIB&FICC are glad to present ‘EUROPE AFTER BREXIT’.
On the 10th of May, at Goodwin Boston, Dr. Cosimo Pacciani (CRO of the European Stability Mechanism of Stability) and Prof. Marco Di Maggio (Harvard Business School) will share their views on potential scenarios triggered by the BREXIT, how Europe is positioned and it is reacting, also in relation to wider global uncertainty stemming by recent US elections and elements of geopolitical instability.
How is Europe dealing with the uncertainty and the complexity of our days? Is it possible to transform uncertainty in a positive outcome? What are the key risks in front of ‘us’ and the European Union?
