Welcome to the Italian Cooking Series

Maria Laura will teach us how to make a homemade savory cake.



Cook along Maria Blefari as she presents how to make a savory cake.




For the savory cake

  1. 1 kg of red potatoes
  2. basil 
  3. milk
  4. 6-7 sottilette (thin cheese slices)
  5. 300g mortadella
  6. black pepper to taste
  7. salt
  8. parmesan cheese to taste
  9. 3 eggs
  10. Oil to taste
  11. Breadcrumbs to taste
  12. Butter to taste

Today’s chef bio: Calabrian of origin and professional biomedical engineer. I have been in Boston since 2016 after studying and working in many cities in Italy and Europe. Cooking is in my DNA, I always do it for my family and friends because it’s fun and relaxes me.
