Professionisti Italiani a Boston in collaboration with the Dante Alighieri Society and the Italian Consulate in Boston would like to invite you to a discussion with renowned Italian writer Alessandro Baricco.
The award winning writer will discuss the challenges faced by Italian culture today, and will read passages from his latest novel Emmaus. One of Italy’s most established fiction writers, Baricco authored several books including Castelli di Rabbia, Oceano Mare, Novecento and Silk. Baricco is also a director and a
performer. He has won the Prix Médicis Étranger in France and the Selezione Campiello, Viareggio, and Palazzo al Bosco prizes in Italy. He lives in Rome, Italy.
